Liberated Black Futures is a creative workshop series designed to challenge Black folks to think beyond the limitations we’re socialized to believe, and imagine a new future for ourselves, our families, and our communities.

This workshop is for you if you:

Feel out of touch with yourself, creatively stifled, or expressionless

Desire to connect with your inner self, get grounded, and break out of a creative rut

Dream of a liberated future and want to do so in safe and affirming community

our approach

We use afro-futurism as a vehicle to illuminate pathways to personal liberation as well as liberation of the broader community. Our goal is for you to come away with a better idea of your personal aspirations and abilities.
